About Me
Welcome to my "About Me" section. My name is Aimee and I currently work as a Senior Instructional Designer for Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C). Faculty are my primary stakeholder group but I also support staff and administrators at the Metropolitan Campus. My stakeholders frequently grapple with articulating their educational objectives. I help them define their educational goals and serve as the architect for their learning experiences. I bridge the gap between their aspirations and actionable strategies. I gather insights, analyze data, and craft tailored solutions ranging from static training to highly dynamic and interactive elearnings. I also manage a small team that assists with artifact development and technical support. I earned my Master’s degree from The University of Akron with an emphasis on Instructional Technologies within the Instructional Design field. My degree has been especially helpful when selecting technology that can be seamlessly integrated into learning experiences.
In addition to my full-time role as an Instructional Designer, I am an Instructional Media Developer for Columbia University - School of Professional Studies. There I am responsible for enriching lecture content produced by faculty using Multimedia Learning Theory. Outside of Tri-C and Columbia, I enjoy spending time with my family and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
